Surgery Day

Surgery is over! We are so happy to report that surgery went well this morning. The doctor came out after 4 hours of surgery to give us a report on what he found. We are so amazed at how the Lord is continuing to show his power in our time of crisis. They were able to remove all of the cancer that they were able to see. The cancer had embedded itself in her omentum, and they had to remove it, or at least part of it, they also had to remove a few inches of her small intestines. The cancer was also on her bladder, but the doctor was able to remove it by scraping it off. Overall it was a GREAT report. We are so thankful to the Lord for hearing, and answering our prayers.

She is still in a great deal of pain. Please pray that they will be able to keep her pain under control. They expect her to be in the hospital for 4-5 days, and then she will start chemo in 3 weeks.
