Mom went to the hospital this morning to get several tests done. We really hadn't thought to much about these routine tests, we figured it would go smoothly, and she would be in and out. That is not the way things went. They had a very difficult time getting her IV in for her CTscan. It took them four tries before they got it in. This is not an unusual thing for my mom, during her first cancer surgery, it took them over an hour to get an IV in her. Regardless, it was hard on her this morning.

My parents just had a change in their insurance on January 1, this also became a problem. My dad did get if figured out, but it made mom very nervous. Please just continue to pray for them both.

Mom will be getting her port in on January 28, and at this point will start chemo on Feb. 2. I will try to keep everyone posted on any changes. Thank you for all your prayers.
